Sadie 9 months.

- Our dear Sadie got an explosion of love this month and she did so well with it. My Brother and Sister plus their families came to Canada for a month and you would have thought Sadie was Princess Elsa from Frozen. Everytime we come over every child would run up to us yelling SADIE!!! and all want to smother her with hugs and kisses. One time at church Grandma was holding Sadie and had about 6 kids surrounding her trying to see Sadie. Adria told me that blake leaned over then and said "Who do you think is the most popular cousin? I think its Sadie" I think so too Blake!
- Is getting closer to crawling but it's still a struggle.
-Still no teeth! but she doesn't mind. It really hasn't stopped her from eating most anything. She loves grapes, which are just about the most annoying thing to feed a baby as you have to scrap off all the peel. And she got raspberries from grampy's garden for the first time and they are a hit with her.

Her first parade and Canada Day.

One of the young woman's rubbed her to sleep. It was so precious.
Hanging out with Grandma

The alfalfa sprout is back.

Loves time at the pool and playing with cousins.

Went on another carriage ride with Doc Jones. He took us all over town.

Sadie 8 months

- Started to say Ma Ma
- Continues to love the pool and even went down the waterslides with us.
- Switched from her rock and play into a pack and play. Mainly because we were worried this was hindering her from developing leg strength. In the rock and play she is always in a bent position and when she was out I often had her sitting up. She doesn't like to weight bare at all. (May 29)
-Update from being out of the rock and play for the last few weeks. She weight bares much better and is trying so so so hard to get into a crawl position. (June 13)
- Continues to love to eat any food
- Still nursing. The longest baby I have nursed so far.
- She is becoming a little stinker at night and thinks she wants to party with us. She has been staying up till 9-10 with us. I mean she is cute and I love spending time with her, but seriously, go to bed.
- Her hair is starting to come in a little more. I pretend like she has enough for a little pony tail and it is currently blonde.
- She loves watching David and Sienna and I can't wait till she is mobile and can follow them around and join in on their fun.
- Still can't crawl, but has learned what looks like a painful way to get around is do a back crawl. She arches her back and pushes off with her feet, scooting herself backwards. Maybe this is why she doesn't have a lot of hair.
- Had a scary choking incident. I had peeled off the plastic from a bubbles container and just put it next to me. (Big mistake) Sadie was sitting next to me and I didn't even notice her put it in her mouth. I went inside to cut her up some grapes. I start feeding them to her and she is like gagging on everyone and I was so confused cause she had ate them just fine the night before. Then she really starts gagging so I freak out and run into Matts office saying she is choking on a grape, so we both try getting our fingers down there and luckily we were able to swath the plastic out. Poor little thing spit out blood. I felt so bad.

 Cutie sisters.
Came on a getaway with mom and dad to Kalispell. Eating at our favorite place "Echo Lake Cafe"

This girl loves FOOD!!!

Story time with David

Sadie- 7 months

You could probably read everything from month 6 and it would be about the same for month 7 for this little nugget.
- Likes to smack her lips or say ta ta ta.
- Went in the swings for the first time
- Eats most of the same things we do.
- loves to grab peoples toes.
- She wakes  up so happy. Half the time we don't even know she is awake. So sometimes I feel like she took an awesome nap but then I really have no idea because I go in the room and she is just wide awake with a smile on her face.
- She does not like grass. No surprise there. But she does love to sit in the gravel at playgrounds and put rocks in her mouth... again, no surprise there.
-

One of the first times in the swing. Might have been her very first...

Playing in the fort with Ivy and Bria
 First ponytail
Rub a dub dub 3 cuties in a tub. Sadie LOVES the water.
Caught a carriage ride early in the morning.

Sadie 6 Months

HALF. A. YEAR. That went by fast. And if it's possible I think Sadie gets sweeter and sweeter everyday! She is such a great baby.
At 6 months
- She is sitting up like a pro. Occasionally loses her balance and topples over, but I don't feel like I need to create a barricade of blankets and pillows around her.
- This girl loves solids. I didn't think she would because I had first tried pureed foods and she would take a few bites and be over it. Then I learned more about baby led weaning and she took off. She just didn't want her food all mashed up, she wanted to be more like us! Now if we aren't feeding her fast enough she starts to growl and scream at us, letting us know she needs more NOW.
- Starting to sleep so much better at night. I think all those solids are keeping her more full at night. So I feel awesome.
- She loves avocados, bananas, oatmeal, mangos, carrots, and sweet potatoes.
- Now that she can sit up she doesnt love to lie on her back or tummy.
- Went to the pool in town and loved it.
- Still wears some 3 month clothes as well as some 3-6 month clothes. Size 2 diapers and weighs about 14 pounds. But she still has some chubby cheeks and leg rolls.

Love these three cuties of mine!

Some of Sadie's first foods. She loves mango!
Everyone in awhile Sienna wants to be a little mama to Sadie

Playing with the boy next door.

LOVES SMOOTHIES

 Watching T.V. with David

First time sitting in the front of the grocery cart. It last about 10 seconds.

David reading books to her. Makes my heart melt to see stuff like this.

Sadie- 5 months

Also I have found it too confusing to say what she is doing at x month, but really she like just hit that month so everything she did she did it in her 3rd month not the 4th month, but I am documenting it like it was something she did at 4 months. Does that make sense? You guys probably won't recognize any sort of difference in how I blog, but in my mind, I will know!
- Ate some solid foods. Bananas, avocados, and sweet potatoes. But she got a little constipated after eating these so I thought I'd wait a little longer to do it more consistently.
- Started going in the Jolly Jumper. She loves it. Her siblings love it more. They are always asking to go in it and if Sadie is in it they can't leave her along.
- Slept thru the night once. Oh it was so glorious. But...
- I jinxed myself. I had been telling people I have never really had a baby get up in the middle of the night and just want to be awake. She has done that a few times now. Usually its at 530. So we come to the living room, I put her under a toy mobile and fall asleep on the couch. I wake up to her passed out on the floor. She thinks she wants to party that early, but really she doesn't
- We got her ears pierced. So cute. She did pretty good. She doesn't really like me cleaning them so thats annoying since I have to do that 3 times a day for 2 months...
- Got her first little hair cut. She had this cute little tuff of hair on top of her head that stuck right up and was inches longer then the rest of her hair.
- Mostly rolling from back to tummy. Those little arms get in the way sometimes from her rolling back onto her back.
-Does not like to stand on her legs. She likes to stay in a seated position. I feel nervous that she is going to be behind on some gross motor skills...?
- Had her first reaction to something that I have no idea what it was. I hadn't been feeding her any solids but she had 3 mosquito looking bites/mounds on her legs and then after nursing a huge rash behind her ear and the back of the leg that was touching me. So I don't know what I came in contact with but I think something on me irritated her.
- Continuing to talk. She says yayayaya lots and is starting to make a dada sound.
- Has some of the loudest toots ever. In sunday school 2 rows forward and 2-3 rows back have cracked up at her more then once.
- Started putting herself to sleep. That lasted for a week. Then she screamed whenever we tried to just lay her down and put herself to sleep. It was so nice while it lasted.
-Started sitting on her own for a few seconds.
- Still the happiest more content baby ever.

bye bye little tuff of hair
snot face

Thought she wanted to party at 5 in the morning. Crashed 30 mins later.

Loves when daddy rubs her back. She fell asleep like this
